Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 15 May 2025 | Effective: 15 May 2025
Please read these terms carefully. They describe the basis on which Trustleaf offers its educational and administrative programs. Our services are educational and organisational in nature only and do not constitute legal, financial, tax, or professional advice of any kind.
1. About Trustleaf
Trustleaf is an educational and administrative services provider based at 119 Mu 1, Bo Phut, Ko Samui, Surat Thani 84320, Thailand. We offer family education workshops, record organisation toolkits, and guided family conversation programs relating to estate organisation and legacy record-keeping.
All services are educational, facilitative, and administrative in nature. Trustleaf is not a law firm, accounting practice, financial services provider, or licensed professional services firm. Nothing we provide — written, spoken, or in workshop format — constitutes legal or financial advice.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By enquiring about, registering for, or participating in any Trustleaf program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with an enquiry or registration.
These terms apply to all individuals who access our website or engage with our programs, whether as individuals, family representatives, or corporate clients.
3. Our Services
Trustleaf currently offers the following programs:
- Story & Memory Workshop — A group workshop guiding families in recording personal and family history using prompts and simple capture methods. This is a memory and education service only.
- Records Tidy & Inventory Toolkit — A guided administrative session and toolkit to help families organise their own documents and records. This service works only with materials you supply.
- Family Conversation & Literacy Program — An educational program covering general succession and record-keeping concepts, with neutral family facilitation skills support. All content is educational and facilitative only.
Program descriptions, inclusions, and pricing are as stated at the time of your enquiry or booking confirmation. Trustleaf reserves the right to update program content to maintain quality and relevance.
4. Not Professional Advice
All content, materials, workshops, guides, and facilitation provided by Trustleaf are general educational and administrative resources only. They are not tailored to your individual legal, financial, or personal circumstances and must not be relied upon as such.
You are encouraged to consult qualified legal professionals, financial advisors, accountants, or other relevant practitioners for advice specific to your situation. Trustleaf expressly disclaims any liability arising from reliance on our program content as professional advice.
5. Bookings and Payment
Program bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment or an agreed deposit, as communicated during the enquiry process. Pricing is stated in Thai Baht (฿) and is inclusive of all program materials unless otherwise specified in writing.
Payment terms, invoicing arrangements, and group pricing (where applicable) are agreed prior to program commencement and confirmed in a booking summary sent by Trustleaf. Payment methods are as advised at the time of booking.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances change. Our approach to cancellations and rescheduling is as follows:
- More than 14 days before the program: Full refund or free rescheduling, at your choice.
- 7–14 days before the program: 50% credit toward a future program, or rescheduling subject to availability.
- Fewer than 7 days before the program: No refund or credit, though we will try to accommodate rescheduling where possible.
If Trustleaf needs to cancel or reschedule a session, we will provide at least 5 business days' notice and offer a full refund or alternative date.
7. Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for attending sessions punctually, engaging respectfully with facilitators and other participants, and ensuring the accuracy of any personal or family information they choose to share during sessions.
Trustleaf programs are designed for adults aged 18 and above. You confirm that all participants you register are adults unless a specific youth-appropriate program has been expressly agreed in writing.
You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information received in our programs. Trustleaf does not direct, manage, or take responsibility for the outcomes of those decisions.
8. Intellectual Property
All program materials, workbooks, template packs, facilitation guides, and website content produced by Trustleaf remain the intellectual property of Trustleaf. These materials are licensed to participants for personal and family use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or resold without written permission from Trustleaf.
Participants retain ownership of all personal documents, data, and materials they bring to or produce during sessions.
9. Confidentiality
Our facilitators treat all family information shared during programs with care and discretion. We do not share your personal or family details with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by Thai law.
Participants in group programs are asked to respect the confidentiality of other participants' personal information shared during sessions. Trustleaf cannot, however, be held responsible for the conduct of third-party participants.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Trustleaf's liability for any claim arising from participation in our programs is limited to the amount paid by the participant for the relevant program.
Trustleaf is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss arising from decisions made by participants based on program content. This limitation applies whether a claim is based in contract, negligence, or otherwise.
11. Website Use
Our website is provided for general information purposes. While we take care to keep information current and accurate, we make no warranty as to its completeness or fitness for any particular purpose. The website should not be used as the sole basis for any personal or financial decision.
We reserve the right to update or modify website content at any time without prior notice.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms or from participation in Trustleaf programs will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
