Our Story

A Place for Families
to Find Their Footing

Trustleaf was founded on Ko Samui to give families a calm, structured way to approach the questions that often go unasked — until they urgently need answers.

Who We Are

The Trustleaf Story

Trustleaf came together in 2019 when two friends — one with a background in family mediation, the other in records management — noticed the same gap in the community: families living in Thailand, whether long-time residents or those with international ties, had very few places to turn when they wanted to simply get organised. Not to receive legal counsel, not to set up complex structures, just to understand what they had, where it was kept, and how to talk about it calmly.

The island of Ko Samui sees a particularly wide mix of family situations — multi-generational Thai families, international couples, retired expatriates, and business owners with assets in more than one place. What they share is the same quiet need: a place where they can slow down, gather their thoughts, and prepare without pressure.

We built Trustleaf to be exactly that. Our programs are educational and administrative in nature. We do not offer legal advice, nor do we make decisions on behalf of any family. What we do is create a thoughtful environment where families can capture their history, tidy their documents, and hold the kinds of conversations that matter — at their own pace, in their own way.

Since opening, we have worked with families from across Thailand and the broader region, helping them move from scattered paperwork and unspoken wishes to something more settled and clear. We are proud to be a quiet presence doing genuinely useful work.

Our Mission

To give families a calm, structured space to preserve their stories, organise their records, and prepare for the future — without pressure or complexity.

Our Values

Respect, clarity, and practicality. We believe families deserve useful tools and plain language — not intimidating jargon or an unnecessary sense of urgency.

Our Approach

We listen first. Each family's situation is different, and we shape our guidance around what they actually need rather than a one-size-fits-all model.

How We Work

Our Standards & Protocols

The practices we follow to ensure families receive a thoughtful, well-structured experience every time.

Strict Confidentiality

All information shared during sessions is treated with complete discretion. We do not retain personal documents after any engagement concludes.

Ongoing Professional Development

Our team regularly participates in facilitation and administrative training to keep our methods current and relevant to the families we serve.

Educational Scope Only

We are clear about what we do and do not do. Our work is educational and administrative. We do not advise on legal matters or financial decisions.

Participant Feedback Process

After every workshop, we invite written feedback from each family. This shapes how programs evolve and keeps us accountable to the people we serve.

Participant Readiness Assessment

Before any workshop, we conduct a brief conversation to understand your situation and ensure the right program is matched to your family's needs.

Data Handling with Care

Any personal data collected during our engagement is handled according to Thai PDPA requirements. We are transparent about what we collect and why.

Family Estate Organisation in Ko Samui

Trustleaf operates at the intersection of family communication, personal record-keeping, and legacy literacy. We serve families in Ko Samui, across Surat Thani province, and throughout the Gulf of Thailand region who want to take a considered approach to how their stories and documents are preserved and shared.

Our work draws on principles of neutral facilitation, administrative organisation, and accessible education. Families come to us at all kinds of moments — some are prompted by a recent experience, others are simply thoughtful people who prefer not to leave things to chance. Whatever the starting point, our programs offer a gentle, structured path forward.

We conduct all workshops in English and are experienced working with international families, expatriates, and multi-cultural households. Our location in the Bo Phut area of Ko Samui allows for in-person sessions, and we also support families further afield through guided remote options discussed individually.
